Ingredients

  • 1.3 lb penne (1lb 5oz)

  • 7 T butter

  • 1/2 t red peper flakes

  • 1 c vodka + 2 T

  • 1 c pureed plum tomatoes

  • 1 c heavy cream

  • 1 c parmesan cheese

Method

start cooking the pasta, when you pour it in start the sauce

melt butter in skillt big enough to hold the pasta

add pepper flakes and vodka, simmer 2 min

add tomato, simmer 3 min

add cream, simmer 2 min

add 2 large spoonfuls of pasta water and pasta, stir together for 1 min

add cheese, stir

serve
